AWCC
Whether By Land or By Sea
Prince William Sound Glacier Cruises is proud to partner with the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. The 65 acre Center is a great place to see grizzly and black bears, musk ox, bison, eagle and moose up close. It's the perfect complement to the marine wildlife seen on our cruises!
Both our Glacier Adventure and Wilderness Explorer cruises include a FREE pass to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center when you book online, valid for a year!
The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) is also a rehabilitation center for injured and orphaned animals, and provides environmental educational programs for nature lovers of all ages. Currenty they are busy with a long term project involving the nearly-extinct Wood Bison. This twelve year project will re-establish the wood bison population in Alaska and western Canada and build the herds to a sustainable poplution.
As with Prince William Sound Glacier Cruises, the AWCC provides an opportunity for visitors to see the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Alaska in a way that is safe for both human and animal, and we are proud to be teaming up with them this summer.
